Now server admins can block this supergridding thing if they don't want players to use. I want to learn how to make a supergrid for cosmetic reasons and not to exploit the game to make invincible ships, like someone had pointed out in another post i made about the "Enable Supergridding" option when creating a New World. It allows you to use supergrid blueprints.

Supergridding is an exploit in which you place a large-grid block, blueprint it, then edit the xml for the blueprint itself to tell the game it's actually a small block. Isn't that where instead of a large-grid block only having one attachment point per side, it would have 25 attachment points to attach small grids?. The problem is that two large-blocks are now held together at 25 points of contact instead of one.

I think they wanted to delete this but decided to add it as option. i have this option disabled and can paste supergrid ships from the workshop... Makes me wonder what this option is for. You could try asking the author of the modless mod...
